Viridiana Fernandez

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Meet Viridiana Fernandez. She is a native to Niles, MI and graduated with Honors from her high school in 2019. She completed assisting school in the fall of 2021 and soon after became a part of our 32 Pearls team. She received her radiology license in 2022. She has since been trained in expanded functions dental assisting and excels in patient care. She is bilingual and an amazing asset to our team. 

Jamie Valentine-Senol

Dental Assistant

Meet Clinical Dental Assistant, Jamie Valentine-Senol. Jamie is a native to the South Bend Michiana area. She attended Riley High School and received her dental assisting certificate from South Bend Dental Assisting School in 2018. She obtained her dental radiology license from the State of Indiana in 2019. Jamie has worked with our team as substitute for years and finally joined the 32 Pearls Family Dentistry team in 2023. 

Kristy Kaser-Shively

Hygienist/ Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Meet Registered Dental Hygienist and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Kristy Kaser-Shively. Kristy joined the 32 Pearls Family Dentistry Team in 2011. She has been in the dental field for over 24 years. She  received her certification in dental assisting and trained in expanded functions at Indiana University, South Bend (1999). She continued her education in dental hygiene at Indiana University, South Bend. Kristy graduated with an Associate's of Science in dental hygiene (2005). Kristy furthered her dental education receiving her  Bachelor's degree in Dental hygiene (2011). Kristy is originally from Bremen. She is married with 5 children, 4 grandchildren and she currently resides in Walkerton.

Beth Shambry

Hygienist

Meet Registered Dental Hygienist, Beth Shambry. Beth joined our 32 Pearls team in January 2019. She has been practicing hygiene in the dental community for many years and is dedicated to providing gentle, quality and personable care. She is a South Bend native, attended LaSalle High School and graduated from Indiana University-South Bend (2012). She currently resides in Michiana with her husband and four children. Beth recently retired her "cookie-lady" position with the Girl Scouts when her daughter focused more on travel softball. You can find her at 32 Pearls, the softball/baseball fields or the bowling alleys cheering and participating with her family. If we ever start an office Softball team, she will be team Captain.

Sue Baumgartner

Hygienist

Meet Dental Hygienist Sue B. Sue is an ever loved classic to the 32 Pearls Team. She forms connections and educates our patients in the most caring and sincere manner. She is a Mishawaka native and graduated from Marian high school and Indiana University South Bend dental hygiene program. She has been practicing hygiene in the Michiana area since the 80s. She and her husband reside in Mishawaka with her two amazing daughters. Don't let this one fool you, she is the life of the party!

Ashlee Hernandez

Meet Dental Hygienist, Ashlee Hernandez. Ashlee joined the 32 Pearls Family Dentistry Team in summer of 2023. Ashlee is a native to South Bend and is an alumni of Washington High School. Go Panthers! Ashlee graduated from Indiana University Dental Hygiene program in 2023. She enjoys spending time with her family and can be found enjoying her KINDLE filled with spicy novels and motivational books. This Sports fan can be spotted at a nearby hockey game. If she cheers too loud, try not to judge. Ashlee is already one of the patient favorites, so expect to be amazed and motivated to improve your oral hygiene. 

Jessica Whiting

Hygienist

Jessica joined our 32 Pearls Team in 2018. She graduated from Ivy Tech with her degree in dental hygiene in 2017. Jessica is caring and dedicated to quality. She is very knowledgeable, professional and superb at what she does. She is a mother of two and currently resides in Mishawaka. (picture to come)

Yolanda Lawshea

Hygienist

Yolanda is new to our team. She began in November 2022. She has over 2 decades of experience in dental hygiene and previously worked with Dr. Green. She has finally made her way to working with our team. We expect her to be a patient favorite. (picture to come)
