Gary Heaggans

Patient Relations Specialist

Gary joined the 32 Pearls Family Dentistry Team in February of 2015. He attended Purdue University, West Lafayette and University of Kansas. Gary received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Kansas (2005). Gary has a strong background in interpersonal communications, human relations and sales. He is originally from Kansas City, KS. Gary and the doctor have a beautiful family together including their 3 sons and cocker-spaniel. He enjoys sports and coaches boys basketball. They currently reside in Michiana.

Lisa Hadary

Office Administrator/Financial Coordinator

Lisa has been one of the leaders of our team since 2020. She is a proud alumni of Washington High School and currently resides in Michiana with her daughter. Lisa has been in the dental field for over 20 years with an office managerial focus. She has experience in working with general dentistry and the specialty of orthodontics. Lisa became radiology certified in 2008 and has become an expert with handling insurances and patient accounts. She loves German Shepherds and hopes to convince Dr. Barker to adopt a therapy dog.

Malia Carenio

Office Administrator/Scheduling Coordinator

Malia joined the 32 Pearls Family Dentistry Team in January 2023. She received her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Bethel College (2005). With decades of experience in customer service, she has been a part of the 32 Pearls Family Dentistry family for over a decade and finally accepted the invitation to join our team. Malia coordinates scheduling for treatment and financing options for patients. She is our collaboration specialist that ensures continuity of care with specialists in the area. She is dedicated to the field of dentistry and committed to serving the community. She currently resides in Michiana with her husband and twin boys. Malia also loves dogs and is involved in the convincing of Dr. Barker to adopt a therapy dog.
